Silken Quilt Squares

Class Cost: $60

You say you love to cross stitch and yet you love quilting. Why not join both of these needle arts in one class? I have four different pink quilt squares of traditional quilt patterns for you to stitch. Your stitching will be on 40 count silk gauze and the best part is you will only be stitching half crosses on the entire square. Remember, the holes are much easier to see on the translucent, silk gauze than they are on the linen.
In class, students will have their choice of any of these four squares. Each are stitched on the same stitch count with the same four colors and will finish to be the exact same size. My intention is to do more of these squares in different designs and literally join them all into a silk quilt. Everything needed to complete this design will be included in the class kit: special needles, silk gauze mounted onto acid free mat board and four different colors of French 100% silk fibers.
Please bring normal stitching supplies to class, along with extra lighting and magnification if needed.
